Alkion Press publishes novels, poetry, essays, books for children, non-

fiction, and books on education.

ALKION PRESS

Alkion Press is situated in the rural Hudson Valley, surrounded by abundant natural beauty and an artistic, therapeutic and agricultural community. We are a brand new press and only plan to publish two or three volumes a year. We focus on education and culture, especially as it pertains to the development of the human spirit.  

Alkion Press is an offshoot of the Alkion Center for Adult Education. In the books we publish we look for qualities that adhere to the same mission statement, which "is to provide guidance and practice in the philosophical, contemplative, moral, artistic, and practical capacities needed to become self directed, fully developed human beings and educators."
